Displaying Statistics

Every time you add a series to a graph or calculate a new series, basic statistics are computed and saved with that series. The statistics for all series can be viewed by selecting View | Summary Statistics which displays the following:

The toolbar buttons are used to expand and collapse the series statistics details, copy the text to the clipboard, and set and format selected statistics as Graph Notes.

Each series is shown and a Summary for All Series is shown at the bottom. Statistics can be edited by expanding the series and graph properties panel. You can choose to display these statistics on the graph itself one of these ways:

  1. In the Statistics Text category of the Series properties panel, set Stats are Visible to True, and set other characteristics such as position, font, etc. Done this way, each series can have its own notes displayed (assuming you put them at different positions).

  2. Click on Create Graph Notes toolbar button or context menu item on the WRDB Graph Series Statistics form above. This will display the statistics text in the Graph Notes property of the Graph Options form. Only one set of statistics can be displayed using this method, but it is the only way to display the summary statistics for all series.
