You can download WRDB 5.0 components using links on this page. This is a test version of the next version of WRDB programmed using VB.Net and all open-source components. Because it is a work in progress, the user should expect that some features of WRDB 4.5 have not been implemented yet, and the code has not yet been thoroughly tested.
Install files have been separated to facilitate fast installation across the internet during the WRDB development cycle. Some install files (like the BDE Installer) will rarely if ever change, and only need to be installed once. Others (like the WRDB program) may change more frequently; you only need to download the files which have been updated.
When you click on the links below, you will get a dialog asking you to Save or Open. It is safe to “Open” the file, which will download it to a temporary directory and begin the installation.
Note that WRDB 5.0 can be installed without disrupting earlier versions of the program. You are able to install the stand-alone WRDB 5.0 client (which is similar to WRDB 4.5) and optionally install the BASINS plug-in which also lets you use WRDB from within BASINS and provides some addition GIS functionality. |

This is the Oracle client 11.1 for ADO.Net 2.0. It is only required if you want to access Oracle servers using WRDB and you don’t already have compatible Oracle drivers installed on your computer.
If required, you will need to download this zip file, extract to a temporary folder and follow the instructions in the “readme_wrdb.txt” file.
If you already have Oracle drivers installed, please see your Oracle DBA for instructions before installing this or any Oracle drivers. |
